Cranberry, Apple and Granola Oats

This cranberry and apple oat breakfast idea is doable on even your busiest mornings.

Ingredient List

  • Small check mark in a circle icon - Maple Syrup Granola Bars, broken up
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 75 ml semi-skimmed milk
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 2 tablespoons dried cranberries
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 1/4 red eating apple, cored, sliced and chopped

Preparation

  1. Place the granola pieces in a microwaveable bowl with the milk and cook in a microwave for 25-30 seconds on high, or until the milk is warmed through.
  2. Top with the dried cranberries and apple, and serve.

Tips

  • Pears or bananas would also work well here.
  • If you don't have dried cranberries, why not try some other dried fruits, such as raisins, cherries, apricots or mango.
